Albert Philip DeAngelis Jr., 62, formerly of New Haven passed away at Charlotte Hungerford
Hospital on Sunday January 15, 2012. Albert was born in New Haven August 14, 1949 a son of
Albert DeAngelis Sr. of Torrington and the late Norma M. Guida DeAngelis.
Al was a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He then had
worked for UPS for two years in the hub loading dept. He spent much of his life working in their
family business the former Standard Food Market on State Street.
In addition to his father Albert is survived by a brother Norman DeAngelis of Goshen and his
wife Lisa and a sister Sylvia Ann DeAngelis of Sydney Australia. He was a devoted uncle to
Roman Lyttleton, Christopher DeAngelis, Joseph DeAngelis and Grace DeAngelis. He was
predeceased by his niece Angelina DeAngelis.
His funeral will leave the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street on THURSDAY morning
at 10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church, New Haven at 11 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Family and friends may
call THURSDAY morning from 9:15 until 10:15 prior to services.
